System Upgrade

We are excited to inform our valued members that we'll be upgrading our system to enhance your experience in person and with our online services.

This system upgrade will be implemented from Monday, September 30, through Thursday, October 3, 2024.

We will continue to update this page with details of the upgrade, any system downtime that may effect you and steps you should take prior to the upgrade.

Timeline

Monday,
September 30

Lobby and Drive through closes at 5:00 pm.

Online banking, bill pay, mobile deposit, and the mobile app will be unavailable beginning at 2:30 pm.

The ATM in the drive through will be available.

The lobby and drive through opens at 8:00 am for normal business.

Online banking, bill pay, and links to the new mobile app will be available on the website at 8:00 am.

Account holders will need to register on the new online banking and mobile app.

We are excited to annouce that part of our system upgrade will include a new online banking product called Mobicint. This change will provide you with enhancements designed to improve your online banking experience. The security of your account is very important to Affinity First Federal Credit Union and all account information before, during, and after the upgrade will remain secure.

Your current account access through online banking and mobile app will shut down at 2:30 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024. Please make sure any transfers, payments, or balance inquiries are completed before that time.

When the new system is available on Thursday, October 3, 2024, you will still access the login screen from our website. You will need to enroll in the online banking system using these instructions:

  1. Your temporary User ID will be your member number.
    • You will be prompted to change your User ID to something other than your member number that is a minimum of 6 letters and numbers.
  2. You will need to set a new password.
  3. Once you are logged in, you will be able to review your accounts, and add services such as Bill Pay or e-Statements.
  4. Please refer to the Mobile App and Deposit tab for more information on downloading the mobile app.

Affinity First Federal Credit Union will be updating both online and mobile services. Please be aware of the following important dates:

  • Complete online and mobile transactions prior to 2:30 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024. Online and mobile services will be unavailable until 8:00 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
  • Submit mobile deposits prior to 2:30 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024.

Current app users must delete the old app then download and install the new mobile app. The new mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

When the new system is available on Thursday, October 3, 2024, you will need to use the new app. You will need to enroll in the online banking system using these instructions:

  1. Your temporary User ID will be your member number.
    • You will be prompted to change your User ID to something other than your member number that is a minimum of 6 letters and numbers.
  2. You will need to set a new password.
  3. Once you are logged in, you will be able to review your accounts, and add services such as Mobile Deposit, Bill Pay or e-Statements.
  4. Please refer to the Online Banking tab for more information regarding access through the web site.

The bill pay service that you have been utilizing will be changing as part of this system upgrade. The current bill pay service will be unavailable from 2:30 pm on September 30 through October 2, 2024.

Here's what you can expect with this upgrade:

  • Enrollment in the new Bill Pay service will be required on or after October 3, 2024.
    • When you log in to online banking, you will click on the bill pay tab to enroll.
  • Your payees, history and any scheduled payments will NOT automatically be moved to the new system.
  • Existing users will receive a letter that includes a complete list of your current payee information to assist with set up.
  • After your payees are established in the new system, you can set up your single and/or recurring payments.

Preparing for the Upgrade:

  • Last day to schedule a payment: TBD
  • Print / Download any payment history you want to have access to after the upgrade.
  • Keep the list of payee information or log in and obtain payee information on the current system.

Your Affinity First Federal Credit Union Debit card will continue to work at retailers and ATM locations during the system upgrade.

For surcharge-free ATMs, we have partnered with the MoneyPass ATM network, which will allow you to access nearly 40,000 convenient surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. Click here to locate a MoneyPass ATM near you.

The ATM located in our drive through is available 24 hours a day and during the system upgrade.

We want to answer questions that apply to individual members or organizations but may not impact every member. Affinity First FCU wants to answer your questions, whether online, over the phone, or in person. Just ask us!

Account Information

  1. Why is Affinity First Federal Credit Union making this upgrade?
    • We are upgrading with your best interest in mind: to operate more efficiently as well as provide our members with new products, functionality, and benefits.
  2. Will my account number change?
    • No. Personal account numbers will not change, however suffixes will change.

Checks, ACH, and Payroll

  1. Will direct deposit / ACH / payroll deductions be affected?
    • No. These transactions will be processed with limited interruptions.
  2. Will I still be able to use my checks?
    • Yes, your personal checks, account number, and routing numbers will all remain the same during and after the system upgrade.
  3. Will I notice any changes on my monthly statements?
    • Yes, the look of your statements will be enhanced.

Cards and ATM

  1. Will my debit card continue to work during the upgrade?
    • Yes, your debit card will continue to work as normal.
  2. Will my VISA credit card continue to work during the upgrade?
    • Yes, your VISA credit card will continue to work as normal.
    • You can access your credit card account as usual at https://www.ezcardinfo.com
  3. Will I receive a new debit or credit card?
    • No. You will not need a new debit or credit card. All information, including PINs, will remain the same.
  4. Will I be able to use the ATM during the upgrade?
    • Yes. The ATM located in our drive through is available 24 hours a day and during the system upgrade.
    • For surcharge-free ATMs, locate a MoneyPass ATM near you.

Online Banking and Bill Pay

  1. Will I be able to access online bill pay?
    • No. All existing bill pay users will need to enroll in the upgraded bill payment services and then set up all payee information after 8:00 am on October 3, 2024.
    • Existing users will receive a letter that includes a complete list of your current payee information to assist with set up.
  2. Will online banking user IDs and passwords change?
    • Yes. You will need to enroll in the new online banking system. Your temporary User ID will be your member number. You will be prompted to change your User ID to something other than your member number that is a minimum of 6 letters and numbers. You will need to set a new password. Once you are logged in, you will be able to review your accounts, and add services such as Bill Pay or e-Statements.
  3. Can I access online banking or the mobile app during the upgrade?
    • No. You will not have access to online banking or the mobile app / deposits during the upgrade from 2:30 pm on September 30 until 8:00 am on October 3.
